After a straight forward and fun pregnancy Justine was transferred to a hospital from her local birth center due to a high blood pressure reading at her 38 week visit. While she had a wonderful induction and blissful birth, her postpartum was very difficult due to postpartum preeclampsia followed by severe postpartum depression. Her son is just about to turn one and Justine is finally able to feel all the blessings of motherhood. Justine credits her recovery to her MVP husband.

Justine lives in Phoenix, AZ with her husband Eric and her soon to be one year old son Lou. Justine has a background in fine art and has taught first grade, high school and community college. She has recently picked up tennis as a hobby and has just set up her studio and looks forward to painting again.
