Greatly appreciate the work you do! The Birth Hour inspired me to have a home birth. I’m due in September with my first child. I listen to the podcasts all the time for education and inspiration. Thank you!

I recommend your podcast to everyone. Thank you so much. Creating this format for birth stories really makes it such a rich experience to enjoy a birth story while hearing the mother’s voice.

Great work @thebirthhour! I learned a lot listening to your podcasts when expecting my now 8 week old babe. I often had to hold back tears on the subway!

[My doctor made me feel very uncomfortable and I disagreed with his suggestions]. I’m so glad I stuck up for myself and listening to your podcast made me feel more empowered. I feel like I own my pregnancy and no one can order me to do what they want without me agreeing. So a huge thank you to you for what you’re doing and for spreading such strength and positivity. xxx

Birth is a bit intimidating as someone who hasn’t experienced it before. I started following this account to get more comfortable with the idea! Thank you for sharing these beautiful, bold, women. It’s so encouraging to me to understand that my body was designed for birth in a very visually stunning and beautiful way. Thank you!

I just wanted to reach out and say THANK YOU! Thank you for creating The Birth Hour podcast. I’m 23 weeks pregnant without as much support as I would like surrounding me and the podcast has been so informative and empowering! Thank you!

I’ve been having some nasty, horrific morning sickness the last 3 weeks. I’ve been binge listening to your podcast to help keep positive!! Thank you.

I just wanted to thank you (and your helpers) so much for your work, especially your podcasts. I love listening to them on my way to and from work, and find them very comforting. They’re all so fascinating, honest, and vastly different, especially compared to my planned cesarean section experience. Please know that your work makes me happy, and I’m truly thankful for that.

Thanks so much for your podcast! I’ve listened to them throughout my pregnancy. I had my second baby on Sunday- a beautiful quick 7 hr drug free labour. I credit your podcast for the mental support that helped me through. My previous labour was 36 hours and was far from ideal. Thanks so much for contributing to the success of my second labour. xxx

My favorite thing about the podcast is that you have on guests who don’t sugar coat birth, but still keep such a positive attitude about it. It’s the perfect mix of pragmatic and positive. Your guests help me see how it’s possible to have a great birth under many diverse circumstances, whether it’s at a hospital or home, or anywhere in between.
