An Unexpected Cesarean Section – Sarah Hill
Sarah went into her first childbirth experience expecting a vaginal birth and ended up with a cesarean. Find out about the series of events that led to Sarah’s emergency C section in this week’s episode of The Birth Hour.
Sarah Hill is a mom to Harper, 9 months. She and her husband, Braeton, have been married for six years and live in Brookings, SD. Sarah works from home as editor of two national magazines for dairy farmers.

I love this Birth Without Fear movement called #cesareanbirthisbirth which validates C section mamas who may be feeling down about their cesarean births in an environment where natural and vaginal births are set as the “ideal birth.”

Incredible story there. What happened after? Thanks!
oh my gosh, 3 weeks of leave?! that is absolutely unequivocally WRONG!! I was still a zombie at that time. 6 weeks is even ridiculous. I was lucky to get 6 months off, but I wish it was a year. Thank you for sharing your story.
