I listened to every Birth Hour episode during my last pregnancy and heard the women while I was in labor–way more helpful than a childbirth class!

As a first time mom I was so nervous of the unknown that comes with giving birth. Your podcast prepared me for a natural birth…and it was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had.

Thank you for creating The Birth Hour! As I am preparing for my second birth it is really helping me process the feelings I didn’t know were lingering after the birth of my son, and helping me prepare in a really powerful way for this next experience. I am so so grateful.

Thank you for existing! Your podcast helped me so much in my pregnancy. I [want you to know] this movement is a huge part of what helped me in those [birthing] moments. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I’ve also loved listening to @thebirthhour while pregnant and leading up to the birth. I was so inspired by all the natural birth stories. I preferred listening to the water home birth ones since that is what I was intending for myself. [After having an unplanned c-section] I’ll go back and listen to those c-section episodes. Thank you for the important work that you do.

Thank you for doing this episode! I’m a young doula and lawyer of color and the glaring race and class disparities in birth, pregnancy, and parenthood are subjects so so close to my heart! Thanks again Bryn and Denene for sharing it!

I love your podcast! I started listening during my pregnancy with my second son. He is two weeks old today. I had a traumatic forceps delivery with my first that left me with level two pelvic floor prolapse and PTSD. I was determined to have a different experience with this birth and decided to take a Bradley Method class. I read all the birth stories I could get my hands on and listened to your podcast. I’m happy to say I got the birth experience I was praying for. I labored for two hours and had the baby six minutes after I got to the hospital. Baby was born en caul too! Thank you for producing your podcast! It provided so much encouragement for my own birth!

I don’t have any children yet, but I listen to your podcast on my commute to work every day. I am gaining so much knowledge and insight to help prepare me for when I do get pregnant. It’s a great preparation tool in addition to reading books. I love hearing everyone’s birth stories and seeing how different labor can be for each individual. Keep up the good work!

Love your work! I was instantly hooked to the podcast and it inspired me to chase birth stories in my country, Brazil, to try to inspire other women like you do.
