  1. Brie, after listening to your INCREDIBLE story I feel I have finally found someone who has gone through what I did and I don’t feel alone with my traumatic first birth experience. I too had Gestational Hypertension which lead to a 48 hour induction and soon after my BP went to 190/90-100 and I was fainting and the doctors weren’t concerned. I was told I could stay with MFM due to familial history of cervical instability but I regret it all. I’d LOVE to hear from you on how you mentally prepared for your 2nd birth (our babies are actually only 2 weeks apart!) with your son and even though its awhile away for me to have another since I’m in nursing school (to become and l&d nurse) I would still love to start research and prepare for as un medicated and at home/in water as possible! However I did hemorrhage after my first so I don’t think a full homebirth is in the works for me.
